The Future of the World
In today’s world era, the technology is developing at rapid pace. Every individual is depending a lot on technology and electronics. I am seeing a completely different era after a century
Our future world on Earth is very encouraging. More than 200 countries in six continents are working continuously for growth, prosperity and development. The basis and strength behind this positive expectation are the knowledge, skill set and technology. Further the constant effort of people to better their living standards, cooperate with each other, share the progress help all. In future all of us will have gadgets that make our work easier and of higher level. We have capable scientific minds researching and inventing newer methods and devices. They will improve our health, performance and fulfill our desires better. Social living and political conditions are improving drastically. This is due to availability of social media and world connectivity. Wars are histories of previous centuries. Economic, academic and sportive competition is the alternatives of the future. Due to increased use of fossil fuels, pollution levels are increasing at alarming rate. I hope world leaders will take positive steps to mitigate these soon. People must decide and promise each other to cooperate for the benefit of mankind. The newer generations are so intelligent that they will take a good care of Earth. They will explore the far boundaries of heavenly space and deep depths of oceans. People will as powerful and capable as super humans in a few centuries.
Every day a quarter of a million people are added to the world, which equates to eighty seven million people per year. With such an increase in population, one can only expect the depletion of earth's natural resources and the widespread suffering for its inhabitants. Such a dramatic increase in population would, in turn, cause many environmental consequences. Having twice as many people could result in severe problems, such as air pollution and waste management. The more people the earth has, the more industrial society will become. Increased industrialization will take a toll on the earth's environment and cause heavy air pollution. The biggest cause of air pollution today is vehicle exhaust, through the burning of fossil fuels. While the cars of today have made some improvements, if the earth's population doubles then it can only be expected that the air pollution would double. In addition, space for garbage dumps and more treatment plants will have to be built to deal with the increase in waste. The destruction of vegetation in order to create more room for homes and the dumping of waste, will not allow enough air to be cleaned, nor will it leave enough space to produce enough food to support the world's population.
As we could only imagine what could happen or what’s not, it’s all in the future and there is nobody present as if now who could say what will be the future. We could only assume things to happen at present the whole world is changing very quickly and assuming things is a risky business. One should live in the present and should have least concern about the concern.
